What Vitamins do YOU recommend?

Hello My Darlin's!

I just had my 6 month check and my blood levels are perfect. In fact my Cholesterol has gone from 298 all the way down to 126! My blood pressure has gone from 198/99 to 108/62! Amazing!

My question is....What vitamins do YOU take? In what ways have you changed your vitamin regime from immediate post-op to now and why?

I ask because I have been reading the RNY forum's vitamin questions and there seems to be a lot of controversy about vitamins.

Daily, I take...

First thing in the morning:

2 Flinstones Complete

1 B Complex

1 B-12 Sublingual

1 Vitamin D (1,000 IU) - to help absorb my Calcium because I have Osteopenia

1 Vitamin E 400 IU (just started this to help my skin as I shrink)

1 Vitamin C 500mg (just strated this to help absorb my Iron)

1 Pravacid

Beginning two hours after my morning regimen:

1,500mg Calcium Citrate each day (500mg per serving)

Do you think these vitamins are good for the long-haul? They are working for me now but I fear (after reading the RNY forum stuff) they will not work for me in the future. I don't ever want to get into a vitamin deficiency.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks,

Jules

I take most of what you take, but I take Dr. Pohl's multi-vitamin that has the calcium in it. (Don't like the taste of either Pohl's or Flintstone's, but we gotta do what we gotta do.)
I like your idea about the vitiamin E, as my skin is starting to look like an old ladies...saggy and crepe...gross...I swear I am going to start telling people that my birthdate is '89 instead of '69...LOL, ok maybe '79 :)
I also like some natural stuff, but I know that most Dr's do not like Homeopathic stuff...oh well.
So glad to see that you are doing so much for all of us...Thanks!
Happy Holidays!
