A Non Scale Victory to share
My husband Glenn bought me a dress before my son Sam was born (and yesterday was Sam's 13th birthday!). He ordered it out of a catalog called The Daily Planet, which is no longer in existence. I had seen the dress in the catalog and wanted it. When he gave me the dress, it didn't fit, it was WAAAYYYY too small, but at the time, I loved it, so I saved it and said one day I WILL get in it. I have periodically tried it on over the years...we are talking since BEFORE Sam was born....I carried it here from Nashville, and I moved back to RI about 11 yrs ago.....The nite before last, I tried it on again...lo and behold, it finally fit....it is not a flattering dress other than the color, and it will be too big in the near future, but I finally pulled the tag off of it yesterday and wore it on my son's birthday.....It is an XL. I also purchased size 16 jeans this past week, and have now moved into wearing those...They are tight, but they are on me and look decent. OMG! Whooda thunk it?!
In case you didn't already know this......I LOVE MY BAND!!!! I'd kiss it if I could!

Damn! I just typed this long reply and the website timed out and crashed me. I hate when that happens...I hope this is not a reflection of these new changes.
So, short and sweet and without all the great details I just typed out...I won't be there Weds nite...got tons of holiday plans and gatherings this week and can't make it...but maybe I'll see you and everyone else at the next support group mtg, whichever one it is.
Huggs!
