I think I mentioned that my sister, Shanna Wells,  is the star of a one woman show called Mrs Claus in Menopause which is being performed at RIC on  Dec 19th at 8pm.  The tickets are $20 and they benefit the RI Food Bank.  The show is adorable, and my sister is great!   The writer, Kathy Dahill and my sister Shanna were on the radio this weekend, and you can listen to the radio interview, as well as 2 songs from the show here http://www.amazingwomenri.com/   It will be available thru Sat.   I encourage you to go see the show.  It has a sweet message about taking care of yourself, It is hilarious, and it benefits a great cause, particularly at this time of year.    The seats are all general admission.  Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the box office at 456-8144, or purchased at the door.

I hope to see you there!

Hey Jules,

I'm excited for you to see the show...Shanna is really awesome and the show is funny and also sweet....A really nice message about taking care of yourself not only during Christmas time, but all year long. There is so much you will be able to relate to.  I think John will get a kick out of it too.  Glenn and I are having a date nite that nite, to see the show.  I saw it last year with my son, who wanted to see his Aunti Sha, but this year Glenn will see it for the first time, and I am excited for him.  I know a number of people going that nite.  I will keep my eyes open for you.  :o)

Hi Cara,

Julie mentioned the show to me when I was at her house on Thanksgiving, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it.  We are leaving to drive "home" to Michigan for Christmas on Saturday morning, and I will need Friday night for last minute packing.

The show sounds absolutely adorable!  Enjoy it for me!
