Bummed about missing yet another support group mtg

Ok, so I was scheduled for my second fill today at 2:30.  Yesterday I got a call from the doc's office to ask if there was any way I could reschedule the time to 4:45.  I said sure, cos I just wanted to get the fill today.  I thought I would be there by 4:45, they wouldn't get me in until at least 5-5:15 and then I would make the meeting, no problem.  Well, I was the absolute LAST person in the office today.  I didn't even leave the waiting room until 5:50, and then I sat and waited for the doc...by the time I got my fill, scheduled my next appt and left there, it was close to 6:15, and then I sat in Johnston traffic to the point I just gave up and headed home.  I am bummed, but hopefully will make the first one of the New Year.  Hope you all had a good mtg.

The fill was the most important matter of the day, Cara.  So I'm glad you got that accomplished!  There is always the "Living Life" support group (Julie's new one) on the 17th!  Maybe you can make that one?  I'll be there too.

Yes Vicky, my fill was the most important thing today...It's gonna get me thru Christmas!   He gave me a little extra too...dunno how much I got, but I'm happy for it.  Now on liquids for two days.   You are doing great!!  Looks like your fill kicked in for you.  Whoopie!!   Right now, the 17th is clear on my calendar.  Might be a date!

Hey Cara Mia!

How's the fill feeling? I'm glad you had it done! Is this your first or second one? Time flys!

I hope you can make it to the meeting on the 17th! If not, the next RW meeting is on Tuesday, December 30th! But I hope I don't have to wait that long to see you!

Love ya Buddy!

Good morning!  Well, this is my 2nd fill and it's feeling fine.  I was surprised to actually feel restriction with my first fill, but I should really be feeling something this time since I got a little extra juice on this second fill.  It all adds up, ya know!  A little somethin somethin to get me thru the next big round of holidays.   :o)  I'm down 41 pounds and feeling pretty darned good about that!  I am SOOOOO happy I had this surgery.  I sing its praises daily.

I've got both dates on my calendar.  Today, both look doable, but as you can see from the past two months, I have no control over life...it happens when it happens, and not when I plan it.

Huggers!
