I just read all of your responses and I appreciate all of the support already! I'm hoping to get a picture up soon but I HATE the camera so we'll see what happens with that.

I have my sleep apnea test on the 24th at 9am. So I'm assuming that I won't be sleeping! It's very confusing! I guess I will be comfy and bring a book, but I'm not sure what I will have to do at 9am!

The only thing that I can see as holding me up is that I have struggled with an eating disorder forever. I was honest in the psych eval and told them everything but also said that I have been stable for about 5 or 6 months. He asked for my therapist's phone number and said he will confirm with him. I spoke to my therapist and he said it's been more like 3 months. The psych told me he might want me to be stable for a bit before giving me the green light. I have worked so hard in therapy and everything that hopefully they'll be okay with the amount of time I have been stable and won't make me wait much longer! My therapist is not all for it but will support me. I keep telling him that by far I don't think this will be the end of all my problems, but just one more step in the road to a healther me!

Again, thanks to everyone who posted and now I'm going to check out other posts and hopefully meet some new people!

Welcome Robyn

I think your apt for the sleep apnea is just the initial consult.  You will meet with the Dr and they will then set up for the sleep study.  When I spoke with this Dr- I mentioned I am a terrible sleeper when I am not at home.  They prescribed for me a sleeping pill for the test- to make sure I slept.  If you don't sleep, they can't evaluate you.  It helped a bit- but don't expect to be well rested the next day.

Good luck with your apts and welcome to the board
