Great News.....FINALLY!!!!!

As you all know, my husband is in the Navy and had to move on to San Diego back in August to start his new job. The kids and I were left here to sell the house and then we would meet up with him. Well, he came home for a visit last week. It was amazing. The first since he left. I know what you are all thinking, and NO I am NOT pregnant!!!!! Well, he had to leave on Monday but we knew he would be home again in 2 weeks for Christmas break. Yesterday I got the GREATEST news ever-(well, almost the greatest...nothing could have been better than the day I was approved for WLS).. The bank accepted the offer we had for a short sale on our house. AND, San Diego military housing called and offered us a house. All this happened in 1 day!!!!
This means that Tom gets home on the 12th of Dec. my movers come on the 15-16+17th and we leave on the 19th.
I am soooooo glad to have had the support of this great group while I went through my journey. Without all of you, I would have been lost. I know I have been out of touch a lot these days, but I promise I think of you all often. I will stay in touch through the board, but I am also hoping the Calif. board will be just as welcoming.
I would love to try to plan a get together maybe where it all began for me, Chili's in Seekonk!!!! Anyone up for it. I would love to put a face to some of the names that have helped me through some of the best times of my life!!!! You are all amazing!!!!!

We will miss you! I ABSOLUTELY want to do another get together before you leave. I say sooner than later just so it doesn't come in the midst of craziness and can't happen. You tell me when and where- and I will be there.

How wonderful for you and your family! I would really love to get together with you! Name the day and time, I'll do my best to be there!
Thank goodness you can still keep in touch with us here on OH. Now is probably the time to start checking out the Cali Forum. At least lurk for a while. Learn where the support groups are and what surgeons are most recommended for your follow-ups. An ouce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
We'll miss you!
