Black friday anyone?

Last year I was only a week out of surgery and black Friday was a bit tough. I still ventured out though, and was even recognized from a couple people off the boards here while I was out.  So now I'm curious, how many of you will be out on Friday morning and what are your plans?

I'm planning to be at Wal-Mart in Swansea (or Seekonk possibly) at around 3am..(ugghh, but I want to try to get an LCD HDTV) and then I plan to hit up Toys R Us after. Not really sure from there. I havent worked out my game plan yet.
If there are other crazy people who are planning to be out early it might be nice to meet up and have some company waiting if anyone is interested.

I will be out but will probably be in Warwick.  I won't have a game plan until I get the Newspaper on Thursday....

OH,,,and I just left Big Lots, They have some decent thanksgiving day sales that they are doing today because the one in Swansea at least is closed tomorrow! I got Bratz  dolls for the girls for $5 each, a spiderman comforter ($15)and sheets ($10) for Connor and a few other things.

Here is a thought...You all know that the stores oprn crazy early, and even if you sit in your car after you stuff the in last little bit of turkey, you are NOT going to make it to ALL the stores and get everything that you want...

So, here is my suggestion.......

Hook up with a friend you KNOW and TRUST, let him/her sit in the parking lot of one store (i.e Toys R US) while you sit in theother store (ie Walmart/Target/whatever) parking lot. When the rush starts...pick up the items that you want and also for the friend, as they are doing it for you in another store.

When the crazyness settles, all meet up at a GBS friendly resturant/diner and exchange bought items and monies. It is a win/win situation.

Now who will sit and try to get me a Wii for under 200? LOL

I havent seen a wii advertised for under $200 but walmarts is $249 on Friday and I'll be there if you want me to try to get you one. Give me a call if you want and we can figure it out!

  Sorry but this year I am heading to New York for my black Friday.  Leaving at 430 am on a bus trip with my Sister and niece and great niece.  Gonna give the hip a work out.  Hope your day goes well.

I'm going to have to look at the paper on Thursday first and see if there is anything worth me waking up THAT EARLY!!!!! I have to work for 10AM on Friday so either way my shopping trip wont be a long one!

Hi all!   Friday I will be sleeping.  I work that night.  Actually, I work Thursday night into Friday morning.  I work at 911 so it will be very busy for us too.  Make sure you all stay safe!  People are crazy out there.  My black Friday will actually be Saturday.  We're planning on going to Natick Mall in Mass. this year.  I went there a few weeks ago and OMG is it a HUGE mall!!  I figure an hour to get there and an hour in the parking lot, and who knows how long in the mall.  It'll be an ALL DAY event!!  Happy Shopping everyone!  And BE SAFE!!!  911 ORDERS!!    See ya later!  Eldy
