Hey All,

Today I had  Doctor apt ..  all day long.  But it turn out to be a good day.

1st this am to see Our very own Dr. Pohl's office.  They where very happy with me.  I am down  150lbs. Whooohoooooo.   Only 50 more to go.  They said all my labs came back great.  I need alittle more Vit. D.  I am off all medication that I was on before surgery back in april.  No more Chol. meds , No more High BP meds. No more panic attack meds.  No more machine at night to sleep.  All I take now is  the Chewable Vit.  How cool is that.  I went from a size 38 pants to now in a size 18.  Man does that feel so good.  I went from a size 5+ to a large in shirts.  Cover eyes guys   LOL...  As for the bra  I need to go get sized because that is falling off me.  lol....   Chip cry when he see that.  hee!!!! hee!!!!   All and All  They where every happy.  Hugs to everyone at Pohl's office.  Next visit in Feb

2nd apt.   The Hip Doctor.   As you all know on Sept 3rd I had a total hip replacement.  I am glad to say I am so much better.  I got the green light to drive again.  Want to see someone jump up and down that would be me.  Now my car has to get out of the shop so I can drive. lol...... I am also going to stop being the bum.  I am heading back to work Dec 3rd.  My boss should be happy. I know my bank book will be.   Next visit in Dec after I go back to work.  Oh yeah the Doctor gave me the ok to go on a New York trip for a day.  I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

Now who I like to thanks who got  me where I am today.

1. My Husband  the love of  my life. He has stood by me from the start.  He is next all.  He will be getting the band.  He got the paper to get his gallbadder checked and then all he need to get is the date.
2.  Julie  (MY ANGEL)  She has not only supported me with the weight loss but also with the hip.  She came to my house and stay with me when Chip had to work.  Cooked me lunch when i could not get up and move around. Clean my house.  OMG THANKS SO MUCH.  I am there for you when ever you need me.  Your a special person.  ONE OF A KIND.   TOP OF THE LIST..... Love you like a sister.
3. Laura.  You where the 1st person I met at the support group and you made me feel like I knew everyone forever.  I was scared to death when I 1st walk in there.  But that feeling went away so fast.  Thanks for that.
4. The support group it's self . All that go to them.  I told the Doctor today  They gave me the tool to get my health back.  I did this surgery to get my hip fixed.  I got so much more.  I got my life back .  Along the way I made friend that will last a life time.   Jules, Laura , Angela, Paul are just a few.  I could go on for ever.   Thanks to all of you love you all.  So glad to call you guys my 2nd family.

Love,

Lee Lee!

I'm so proud of you. What a wonderful post! All that inspiration, gratitude and hard work all summed up into one post. Now I'm REALLY sniveling like a baby!

I can't imagine my life without all the great support we all get here and at the support group meetings. Imagine what it was like just 10 years ago when people went through what we have and are going through. They didn't have the support we have. We are all so blessed!

I am so proud of you. When I was spending time with you at your place, I was constantly amazed by the wonder of you! The way you would get up and go even when you were in pain. You could have easily used the hip surgery as a great excuse to sit, be frumpy, eat, not exercise and throw your program and all you've worked so hard for right out the window.

BUT....you DIDN'T! You picked yourself up and kept on goin'!!!

Now THAT, my Dear, is inspiration!

I have so many 'brothers & sisters' here. My life is becoming complete! And you are one of the reasons why.

I love you Lee!

Lisa, '

You are such an inspiration to me and I loved talking to you and Ruth the other day at Trader Joes (not sure how the other shoppers liked us standing there and blocking things, but hey!) You're doing such a great job and you should be so proud of yourself.
Cant wait to see you later today!

Lisa,

YOU ROCK!

Thanks for walking with me..it is helping me use MY tool wisely. I know that I still think pre-surgery at times, but I am doiing better each day!

I keep thinking, if I eat that, I will have to work harder exercising to get that off, instead of taking off the fat I already have on...double the work! NO THANKS!

I really appreciate all of your insight on how to watch for fats/sugars/proteins/calories (of course not in that order, but you know what I mean.)

Hey, btw, I FIT in the 22's!!!! I am SO psyched!!!

Just like Dory said "Just keep swimming!"

~Ruth
