Some Trader Joes reviews.
So I made another trip to Trader Joes today and picked up a few more things and thought maybe it was time to give a few reviews on the things I've tried so far.
Please keep in mind , these are just MY opinions and yours may be completely different!
Buffalo Steak burgers (Frozen) - OMG, grilled one of these and then put a little steak sauce on it and had a little baked potato with it. It was awesome! They are extremely lean and you get this wonderful beef flavor that is extremely similar to beef. Awesome Protein (43 grams!!) in a full one, though I could only eat 1/2
Nothing but Bananas flattened( with the nuts and dried fruit) - I kept reading how great these were and just had to try them. Personally, I didnt care for them that much. Its definately banana but has a sweetness to it that I just didnt care for. I dont care much for bananas when they get overripe and this is what they were like to me.
Coconut curry chicken stix (Frozen) - Guy and I tired these a night or 2 after I got them and they are very tasty. Kind of like mini taquitos with a definate curry flavor.
Whole Wheat Mini pitas - I LOVE wheat pitas so I couldnt wait to try these and they didnt disappoint. Not a lot to say about them, just a whole wheat pita, but in a mini size which works out perfect for me. A definate keeper
Sweet Barbeque flavor Soy chips - I'm a fan of soy crisps anyway and these are your basic soy crisp but with the sweet barbeque flavoring that makes it taste almost just like a bbq potato chip. A great alternative when you have a craving for potato chips.
Trader Joes Cheese Sticks (cheddar) - king of like a cross between a cracker and a hard breadstick I was a bit skeptical of these, but they are really good! I've picked them up a couple of times when I just wanted something to snack on.
Dark chocolate covered Edemame - Jules turned me onto this and I had to get some to try. I love edemame and who among us doesnt love chocolate so its a no miss right? Well....to be honest, I wasnt impressed. I ate one piece and closed them up, I guess its just not to my taste. I love dark chocolate, and I love edemame both boiled and roasted, but for some reason I just didnt like the taste of the 2 together.
I still have a lot of things to try but so far its been awesome and I'll continute to post reviews as long as anyone is interested. I also have several things I'll be preparing on Saturday from Trader Joes, so everyone will have a chance to try things if you're coming.
How about everyone else, anything you've gotten from TJ that you recommend?

Thanks for the reviews! I appreciate them! Especially the Chocolate Coated Edamame. I'm glad you had a chance to check it out.
The only thing I've tried so far is...
Trader Joe's Spanish Lentils (with vegetables). It's a spanish stew of lentils in a traditional "Sofrito" tomato sauce.
I really like it and will definitely get it again. However, I have to add some garlic, pepper & salt to bring out the flavors.
I comes in a microwave dish and is great for two meals for me.

Choc. covered soybeans!!!!! Now that sounds plain nasty!!!!! I love them both, but not sure I want them mixed together. I have been known for talking things down then LOVING them. I would like to give them a try.
Well, I am sorry to say that I cant make it again to the get together. TOM WILL BE HERE FOR 9 DAYS...!!!!!!
We might not get out of bed!!!! I know TMI, but I am sure you all understand! I have not lost a whole lot of weight since he left, but my sizes have gone down a lot. My friends say he is not going to believe what I look like. It is going to be fun. We have a night planned away from the kids at Cuddles and Bubbles down the Cape. I need to get away, these kids are driving me NUTS!!!!!!
