One question, why is the doc performing two surgeries instead of removing your gallbladder at the same time she applies the lapband? Just wondering.

The Dr. said with the lapband they want to make sure the gallbladder surgery doesn't make the band infected.
So two surgeries a week apart.
Yes at least i can have a little turkey and husbands favorite stuffing dish.
XMAS I will be walking like crazy to jumpstart the weightloss and sipping my protein shake out of a fancy wine glass.

Congratulations Jan!! That's awesome!! You will be surprised at how fast the weight falls off after the band surgery...You are gonna love it!! Hope all goes well for you!! Bring chapstick and an ipod to the hospital....helps drown out all the other noise.
