Trader Joes!

For those who dont know..Trader Joes opened on Friday in Warwick on Bald Hill Rd. I have been looking forward to this store opening for soooo long and today I finally got to check out the place I've heard so much about. I have 3 words for you all......TRADER JOES ROCKS!

I absolutely LOVED Trader Joes. It is an awesome store for us and has some really great products. Just ask Julie who was on the phone with me while I was shopping..hahaha...poor Jules! She got to listen to me as I was oohing and ahhhing and reading labels .

Among my finds at Trader Joes today were Buffalo Bison burgers (43 grams of protein each!!), coconut curry chicken stix, pure protein shakes (thanks Jules),some awesome bread that was high in protein, cranberry stuffed chicken breasts, leg of lamb, and tons of stuff I cant remember right now. I'm really looking forward to trying it all and of course I'll share my opinions.

So go check it out and let me know what you think, and if theres anyone in my area that wants to make it out there but doesnt like to drive, let me know. I'm planning to go once a week and I'll be happy to work it out with you and go!

LOL! I got your text message today and was SOOOO JEALOUS that you got to go Joe and I are planning a special trip there this weekend and I cant wait!

We were in Warwick last weekend and we passed it, I had NO idea it was even going to be there, I yelled "OMG -TRADER JOES!!!!!"

haha...I almost called you this morning to go with me, but then I came to my senses and realized you would be working!
I'm planning to go once a week and get things. I've known it was coming, but I kept forgetting to mention it to everyone and then while Guys dad was here I found out it was opening on the 31st.
I'm just thrilled that we have a trader Joes so close now!!!!!!

 I LOVE TRADER JOES!!!!!! I went on Sunday and it was so insanely busy, but I still managed to spend over $100! I'm also planning on making it a weekly thing, but I will definitely be going on a weekday morning from now on. Thank God gas is so much cheaper now, since my kids go to school in Barrington, I get my milk from a dairy in N. Smithfield, and now I will be grocery shopping in Warwick! Gotta love RI!

Krista! We have to make plans to go together if you're dropping the kids off in Barrington. I'll also be going during the day..although yesterday I was there at around 11:30-12 and it was still packed! I didnt mind braving the people though, I loved the store so much!
You have to give me a call some time, and we can get together one day.

I couldn't resist - I went again this morning! I didn't see the buffalo burgers though, are they in the frozen or fresh section? I'll have to grab them next time. PM me your munber - I had it programmed into my old phone, but not my new one. Maybe next week?

I seriously thought about going again today too..I saw on the main RNY board a list of things that people like to buy there and theres a few things I missed!I did get some buffalo burgers, they are in the frozen section and if you want to try one let me know. I'm never able to eat more than 1/2 of a beef patty so I seriously doubt I'll eat much off one of these.

I sell my products to trader joe's, old news to me, but they have no stores  up my way in the woods in cumberland !!  great product mix, any one drink pure protein ???  that 's mine

I actually just finished a Pure Protein a while ago! I hadnt tried them but Julie turned me onto them and I grabbed a few while I was at Trader Joes.

  Next week I am gonna go check this place out.  It sound really good.  I been  home so much not able to drive I never get out much .   I never heard of the place.  lol..   The way you talked about the place need to check it out.  I told Chip new thur on our way home from the doctor I want to stop there.  Chip could be in trouble now..  lol
