Hi BigRhody,

Glad to hear you went to the support group!  I usually go, but didn't make it this month.  There are several of us OH'ers that attend the Miriam support group, as well as quite a few who attend the RW support group meeting.

Which doctor answered Q&A?  Dr V or Dr Sax?  Dr Sax is my surgeon, but Dr V filled my band this past Tues.  Both are great guys!

Good luck with your journey.........

Vicky

Hi guys--I go to the Miriam Hospital support groups too.  Dr V is my doctor and I'll be getting my lapband on November 19th.  I was supposed to have surgery on September 9th, but ran into some insurance hassles....this got resolved and I got my approval this week.  The group there is wonderful!  I work in health care and have never met a better group!

Greetings to you.  Great you made your way to the meeting and sounds like you felt good about your first time there.  Sorry I missed saying hello.  Got tied up at the end waiting to ask Amy the nurse practitioner some questions.  Looked for you when I was done, but think you had headed out by that point.  Will say hello at the next meeting.  If you have any questions, being a fellow Dr. Sax patient, feel free to PM me.
Too bad about your team's loss.  Better luck next season.
~ Sandy
