Update on Karen

Hi Guys!  So, Karen made out just fine with the surgery yesterday. I spoke with her last night and she is a little tired and has some gas pains, but nothing major. Unfortunately, I can't visit her because I am at school, but i will keep updating you as my mom and cousins update me. Take care everyone!

Glad to hear everything went well.  I tried to go upstairs to visit her but got in trouble with Gina for leaving my floor with an IV pole.  The nurses on my floor gave me permission to go upstairs (they had me on the 2nd floor due to lack of beds) and I was with Angela, but Gina said it wasn't allowed and was calling the nurse manager.

So I had to go back downstairs.   

 Hi everyone, I finally got to go home on Saturday.  They made me stay an extra day because I was very nauseous and sick on Wednesday.  I feel better now that I am home.  I think the problem was that I was put on an orthopedic wing and they really didn't have the experience that the bariatric wing has.  Glad to be home.  Thanks Angela for visiting me.  Hope to see everyone soon.
