Still in Florida
Hi Buds!
I was going to fly home today but decided to stay and fly back home with Hubba Wubbins on Saturday.
I'm having a better time than I thought I would. Today, I'm stuck in the hotel room with some left-over intestinal dumping. Keeping the bathroom close. I, literally, had a double-dump! Fat AND sugar all at once! I've never experienced anything like it!
I had some lean pastrami that was grilled to greasy then, when I thought my pouch was doing better, I had a fresh fruit cup! NO ONE told me I could dump on fruit!!! So, I ended up dumping from the greasy pastrami and the sugar in the fruit! All at once. I felt pathetic. It really drained me.
Now, I feel fine but won't venture out of the room until John gets back from work and we go out for a bite.
I'm doing well will getting all my protein and water in each day. No problems with the vitamins either. My calorie intake is still under the recommended 800 cals per day but I'm managing.
Yesterday we walked on the beach for 2 hours, went para-sailing and dolphin watching along the Gulf of Mexico. That was really relaxing and very cool.
It's 63 degrees and breezy cool.

I'm sorry you're having a dumping episode, but hey, just think of it as a little reminder. We can dump on fruit, because fruits have a lot of natural sugars, some will affect us more than others, and its all a mystery so you might have no trouble next time.
Miss you and we're thinking about you always! Have a great time and bring some of that warm weather back with you will you????
I saw the pics of the Halloween party and I can't believe how much you have changed Angela........wow the pic of you in the queens costume is AWESOME!!! You look so beautful....not that you didnt before, but I dont think I would recognize you!!! Jules you look AWESOME too.....wow...what a difference a few pounds make...ahahaha the pics are just beautiful.........the words I can use to describe you all...........is WOW !!!!!!!!!!!

As happy as I am to be here, I am looking forward to being home around you all. I missed Thursday's RW meeting and tonight I'm missing the Miriam Hospital meeting as well.
I WILL BE IN THE FASHION SHOW at the next Rhode Island Hospital meeting though. Please come if you can! It's Wednesday, November 5th at 6:15!

I'm glad you're having a wonderful time in Florida. The pics are fabulous! You look SO great in the pink Patriots shirt!! And wow... parasailing???? I don't think I'll EVER have the nerve for that!

Glad you are enjoying yourself! I hope to see you soon- hopefully once the election is over I will be back to having some time for me. I can't make next weds meeting either, it falls the same night as our PTO meeting- grrr. Someone take tons of pics of our beautiful Julie and everyone else!!
