Well I just got off the phone with Cheryl...and my 2nd appoitment is Nov 10th...and I asked for an approx date...they told me it will be in December, couldnt give me a definite date yet...but at least I am getting closer...keeping positive and just staying on the modified Optifast program!

FIY my sister had her 2nd appt last thursday 10/23 and her surgury is 11/25. Hope that helps with approx dates. Good luck!!!

Wow, Rob! One step closer to your surgery! I know it's frustrating to wait, but it really will go by faster then you can believe. Also, think how much further along you are going to be in your weight loss with continuing the Optifast. You have done such an amazing job! My only suggestion would be to call the office and check in with them once or twice in the next two weeks and see if you could get a cancellation appointment sooner? Can't hurt to try. Sooner in for that second appointment, the sooner on the surgery schedule. Best wishes on a date soon!!

Like Lissa said, call for cancellations if you want to get in sooner.

However, do you want to have surgery right BEFORE or right AFTER Thanksgiving? Not because of eating but because of family get-togethers and physical comfort. You know?
