So I had my Endoscopy....

and it was sooooo easy. You guys were right!

However, they found multiple small ulcers  Soooo I have to take 30mg of Prilosec everyday and go back for another one in December. I'm feeling pretty crappy about this and I kind of feel like giving up. I was hoping to have my surgery in Jan and now I don't think it's going to happen. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Thanks for all the support so far guys!

That's great that it was easy. I haven't had mine yet. I'm a little scared it but hearing it makes it a little less scary.

It sucks that you may have to wait a little longer than expected but it's good they found them before it got worse.  I been suffering for heartburn for the longest time and not on meds. So I'm kind of glad i have to go for the procedure so i can find out if there is any damage.

I'm glad to hear that it was so easy for you.  It was the easiest test I have had to do so far.  I wouldn't worry about the ulcers too much.  The prilosec will help that.  I know how discouraging this can all be.  I have felt that way too.  I thought I was all set.  The insurance company told me that i have been approved for the surgery for October 31st.  Waiting for the surgeons office to call me and tell me so, instead I get a call from them to  tell me i have to go see a cardiologist because the stress test and echocardiogram results i had my PCP fax over, were outdated.  So there goes the surgery i thought i was going to have.   I now have an appt with a cardiologist November 18th.  So hopefully, i will have the surgery in January now.  But I really do believe that everything happens for a reason.  We might not know the reason right now, but it will be apparent to us later.  Try to stay optimistic.  I will if you will!  Eldy
