Ruth in hospital

Hi all,
Sorry for the delayed message, but Ruth called me yesterday to ask about pain in her back.  She called the office and Dr. Giovanni told her she might have just gone off her meds to soon.  The pain came back in full force about 30 minutes after she talked to Dr G.  She called again and was told to go to the hospital.  They said that her lab work looked good, but the pain could have to do with the connection into the old stomach which looked a little inflammed.  Last time I spoke with her, they had her on clear liquids and she was doing OK.  Still not sure what is causing all the pain, but her spirits seem pretty good.  I know they did a CAT scan and said that the pouch looked pretty good. 
I'll let you know when I know more.

How is Ruth doing?

Hi All,
Ruth is home.  They think the pain was caused by a cyst which was pushing up.  She is going to see another doctor and have that checked out.  She is doing well and seems to be hanging in.
