Lap Band support group

Can anyone tell me if and when there is a Lap Band support group? I went to a session last month and met a few of you which was very very nice.

I don't know of a lap band specific group. The group at Roger Williams has a good mix of both bandsters and bypass people.

REALIZE Band on 09/15/08

The Miriam Hospital has a support group for Lap Banders on the 4th Tues of every month. Actually, the first 30 min (5:30-6:00) is for Lap Banders, and the next hour is for all WLS surgeries.

I'm a patient of Dr. Sax, who operates out of the Miriam Hospital, and I try to make it every month.

The address to the Miriam Hospital is 164 Summit Ave., Providence, RI. The next meeting is Tues, Oct 28. Let me know if you'll be there and I'll keep an eye out for you!
