I'm never hungry

I'm never hungry now.  I can hardly get any food in.  When I eat, I have no problems, as I am still on mushies and they are going in just fine.  But I just have no appetite.  Is this normal?   I am in my 3rd week.

Hello,

That is very normal in the beginning I had to remind myself to eat.   Going into my 6 month now and still never feel hungry.  This is all normal.  Feel funny but normal.

Yes, I know I need to eat, but I have no appetite.  I'm getting few calories and exercising every day...Thanks tho...maybe I don't need to be so worried,  I'm seeing the nurtritionist on Tues...will talk to her about it.

I was the same way I knew I needed to eat but never felt like I wanted to.  It is an odd feeling I think.  That is what I was trying to say.  My nurtritionist told me it was normal and as long as I was eating something even if I didn't feel hungry I was doing well.

Thanks Lisa...Been a little paranoid about not getting everything in.  I just want to be sure I am healing and all.   I'll tell you  tho, I have really low energy.  I know it is because my intake is so low.  But I'll keep doing my best, and one day I am sure I will feel like I want to eat again.  But this will be nothing like before surgery, I can definitely see that!  I guess I can give that a big Whoo Hoo!

I was the same way...It started to come back very slowly towards the end of the 4th.
Just keep following the diet in the book.
You'll be fine.           Kim

Thanks Kim.  I'm sticking to the rules, just can't eat much of anything.  I will have one day where I do pretty well, but then the next 2-3 days, I can't eat much at all.  Glad to know it is not just me.
