Sleep Study
Meghan (the nut) has advanced me from the soft food stage. So I'm trying new foods to figure what's pouch friendly for me. Taking it slow there, trying to avoid as long as possible the dreaded dumping.
Walking daily free from some of the old aches and pains. At my upcoming appointment this week, hoping Dr. Sax will give me the ok to go back to the pool and water aerobics.
Feel like each day I'm learning, losing and living again.
Ask away with any other questions.

Anyways, I slept very little. I don't recall the time but I was told I only fell into a deep sleep for so many minutes. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea but was also told had I been in a deep sleep longer, it probably would have been more intense.
Hello Fellow Football Lover!
I had my first sleep study and had a very hard time falling asleep and staying asleep too. Especially with all those freakin' wires!
I had to go back for another study where they fitted me for a CPAP machine. The machine was delivered to my home and fitted to my face.
I had problems with the mask. I was fitted for a new one at home. My CPAP setting was at 18.
I had my RNY then my settings quickly went down to 10.
I have recently had a follow-up sleep study and have hopes that I will not longer require the machine. I have an appt with my pulmonologist on the 15th.
I know I feel better now than I did before the surgery. I also didn't even know I had sleep apnea. I'm glad they send us for all those tests. No matter how cumbersome they are, they're a necessary evil.
Good luck with your's!
