Sleep Study
I had a hard time falling asleep too. Its not easy to sleep when you are so wired up for sound. I move alot and couldn't do that. The worst part was having to go to the bathroom. I had to walk to the other side of the hallway with all this attached. Then when i went to wash my hands the wire connector fell in the sink. I was afraid i was going to get electricuted LOL. I am glad I don't have to do that again. Actually, I have found the endoscopy to be the easiest thing i had to do yet! Good luck to you! I hope the Pats starting working better together! My husband is starting to giving me a hard time about them
(he's a miami fan ) Talk to you later! Eldy
Rhody ~ Hello. I had to do the sleep study too. Agree, it is hard to sleep when out of our own elements. I didn't get much sleep my first night of the sleep study either. In the morning, the tech was able to tell me I would need to return to be fit for the mask. Guess he was able to identify my sleep apnea during my brief spurts of sleep.
When they contacted me to schedule the second night of the sleep study to fit the mask, they said to get the best fit/pressure settings I would need to get more sleep. So it was Ambien for me. It did allow me to get the needed sleep.
Will hope that you don't have to return, meaning no sleep apnea and no CPAP. But the Ambien or an OTC sleep med might be an option for you, just check it out beforehand with your primary doc.
Good luck to you and your football team.
