Flintstones yabba dabba yuck!
I also take the Opti-source that they sell at Dr Pohls office. They taste like an orange creamscicle and I've never had a problem with them. I had a problem with the Flintstones post-op.
You can purchase the opti-source at walgreens.com or even purchase them at some Walgreens though I have trouble finding them.

It's so funny, I hated the Flintstones before surgery and now I kinda like em. But I have seen that Centrum makes a chewable. I almost bought that cos they also made Centrum chewable for folks over 50, but I figured I would talk to Dr Pohl about it when I see him in Oct. Not sure how the regular Centrum chewables taste....maybe someone here has tried em?

god- I soooo hear this!!! I wanted to yak at every friggin chewable I had to take!! Too friggin sweet and sicking!!! I found one at Vitamin World in Warwick I looked forward to taking. It was the gummy sour worms. I think you might need an iron supplement with it- esp if you are bypass. This was the only thing I could tolerate for a few months. Now I have JUST (a few days now) started taking- only because even though I have been looking for months now- finally found the Centrums chewables- and even a CVS equivalent of them. I can tolerate them- sweet- but not horribly. Who knows if my tastes have changed- but I have been through so many multivitamins before I found these. I even tried some powder that was supposed to completely dissolve into water (boy- did they lie!!!!!)
Hope you find something soon- it was a long/hard search for me! Vitamins are sooo important!!
