Ahhhh.....doesn't it feel so good to be home? Those nights in the hospital can be sleepless ones, that was the same for me too. Wishes of wellness to you for your recovery.

Thanks Sandy! Yes, it feels wonderful to be home. My son was really stressed out about me having the surgery...scared something would happen to his mom, so it was nice to see his face and be able to calm his fears too. I'm so happy to be on the other side of this one. :o)

So glad you are home and doing well, Cara!! Welcome to the loser's bench!! I'm going to try to make both the MH and the RW meetings this week, if possible. Post op day 5 for me and I'm feeling great.

Hey Vicky! So good to hear from you! I'm glad you are feeling so good. Last nite I began to take the downward slide. Once I got home, I started to realize everything that was actually hurting me. My muscles are so sore, I'm having that beat up with the baseball bat feeling. Also, I couldn't get in much of anything yesterday...just felt full all day, but I am working on my first protein drink of the morning with an added benefiber to help me get on the right track. Even tho I am not feeling great today, I have NO regrets that I did this, and with you already feeling so good on day 5, I have high hopes to be feeling better soon too. I'm just so happy to be home! And I am go glad you are doing so well!!

Thanks Beth!! I am feeling a little beat up today. I guess the buzz of it all has now turned into the reality of it and I feel a little sore all over. But this too shall pass, and I will be back to my old NEW self soon. No regrets at all tho...I am so happy, even tho my body feels a little worse for the wear, my spirit is soaring!
