Hi all... I'm home
Sorry I didn't let you all know that I am home and feeling fine yesterday, but it took me until today to really feel "fine" (within reason, ya know....lo)
Surgery went well, I apparently had a bunch of adhesions on my liver from an old gall bladder surgery... you know... the old fashioned kind with the 6" scar. That was back in 1989. Dr, Sax removed most of them during surgery. I was fitted with the Realize band. Dr. Sax felt that it would work best for me based on the available space in my belly.
So, I'm here now............. and smiling ear to ear! Well, except for the fat lip I STILL have from anesthesia's tube. Ugh.... I look like I was beat up! And you know how it is with a swollen lip, you just can't leave it alone!!
