That i will never forget for the rest of my life.  For the last few weeks i have been bouncing in a 5lb gap and today i was shocked when i stepped up to the scale.  After 7 months of hard work i can finally say i have reached my personal goal of 235.  I thank all of you for being a part of my sucess.  If it wasn't for my support chain i do not think i could have stayed so strong as i did.  Im sure i will continue to lose here and there but living this new healthy life has taught me a lot about myself, and i learn something new everyday.  Thanks for being there or me!!!!!!

Donnie,

That is fantastic news my brother!!! I have told you before but I hope to be able to walk the same path you have taken on this journey my friend. You should be very proud of your accomplishment...you really are an inspiration to me!   The support we all get from this group has helped me stay on the path so far.

DONNIE!!!  Congratulations on making your goal!!!  I am SOO happy for you.  I have literally watched you melt away before my eyes.  I remember the first support group mtg when I met you back in Feb.  You had just had your surgery and you were just beginning your journey.  You have come such a long way since that day, and I know I speak for everyone here who has gotten to know you over this year, I am SO proud of you!!  Great Job my friend!!

Donnie,

I can't even begin to express my pride for you! You have worked so hard this last year. Seven months since your surgery and you're already at your personal goal!

Like Cara, the first meeting I attended was in February. I wish I could have taken a picture of all of the wonderful people we met that day and compare it to a picture of today. WOW! Amazing!

Weight Loss Surgery is NOT the easy way out. It takes constant vigilance and steady work to get us where we want and/or need to be.

There are no words to express how I feel about you and your accomplishments along your journey. Your integrity, your persistance, your desire to be healthy and your total commitment have given, both, you and your friends here a gift no one else can offer. LIFE!

I love you and I'm proud to call you my friend!

Please don't forget that your journey has not ended. In fact, it'r really just the beginning of a wonderful rest-of-your-life. We are here for you night and day.
