Tired all the time?

Hi

I had my surgery on August 20 and came home feeling great. Now this past week I have been feeling progressively tired and weak.  I take my vitamins faithfully so I don't know what's wrong. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas what is causing it?

Victoria - I can't say that this happened to me - my energy level got better as time went on.  I would call the doctor if I were you, maybe he will order some lab work to make sure your levels are all ok.  Let us know what he says please.

I just had my labs done Thursday, the results aren't in yet. I will call the doctor on Monday.  Congratulations on reaching your goal! Thanks for the advice.

Hi Victoria,

Sounds like you are not getting enough protein.  But if you think you are, call your doctor.

Hi Victoria!

I was totally exhausted for the first 2 1/2 months! Slowly, I was able to more and more. Now I have much more energy than I ever ever had before the surgery!

Take it slow, exercise when you can (even if you're tired. Very important), sip, sip, sip your fluids AND make sure you're getting all your protein in. You're NORMAL!
