In a few minutes, I will be sitting down to my last supper before I go on the pre-op diet tomorrow morning.  I'm having Pork Lo Mein, and I am going to eat the whole order, and savor every bite, even if it makes me late to the PTA meeting tonite.  Even so, I am ready to finish up and get this show on the road.  More tomorrow!

Thats great!  How exciting to be so close to "the day".   I am living thru you right now.  I did my last test yesterday (endo) so hopefully you will be hearing me saying your words.  Enjoy that supper girlfriend, then enjoy the journey of a healthy, energetic lifestyle!   See you on the losers bench...eventually!

Yeee Ha!!!

Mine was lobster and marguaritas!

Mmmm, Mmmmm!

I thought for sure I would never feel the same after surgery as I did eating that 3 1/2 pound lobster before surgery. Guess what....I've had lobster since then (only 3 oz or so at a time) and it's still just a yummy and delicious and satisfying as before! Just no butter....I love, love, love butter....but it's so darned good even without it! Imagine that!

Good for you!

Love ya!

I had my lobster a couple of weeks ago.  I luv it too!!  I've been eating lots of things over the last couple of weeks...so much so, I was ready to stop eating it and get on with feeling thinner.  I know this liquid thing is not gonna be easy, but I have a good mindset and a few strategies in place for those times I am feeling weak of mind.  I feel sure it will be easier by the time next week rolls around.  Sitting here is one of them!  Out of the kitchen.

I think what I will miss the most is my morning coffee on the wkend, but if I want a cup, I'm just gonna drink it black.  Whoo hoo!  I'm on the way!!

Yummy!!  Tho as much as I loved the lobster and loved the lo mein last nite, my favorite favorite favorite of all was the sushi I had Sat nite. That is my all time favorite.  I hope I can eat it again one day after my band...not sure it will be easy to eat a Maki tho...all that seaweed would be hard to digest or chew down small enough, I am guessing....But got to get thru the next month or so first...one step at a time.

Sushi was my last meal- esp since I was told I would not be able to eat it again.  I think I had it 3 times that week (one nice meal out and 2 quick grab and go's from the Shaw's in Cranston).   So far- I have had no trouble at all with it, can eat it just fine.  Then again- nothing I have eaten has gotten stuck, and even when I forget and take stupid big bites.  Maybe when restriction is there- it may be a different story??
