L.B. You are not alone

What the hell is wrong with the ignorant people in this society???? I am only about 9 weeks out and in the beginning of my journey but this really hurts like hell. I FINALLY decide to take my Dr's advice and get to the gym to workout. After 35 mins on the elliptical, 3 miles and 395 calories burned later I am walking out of the gym and BAM!!!

"Hey Fat Ass ...Go back in there!!!"  Ouch after I yelled some choice words back...I got in my truck and fought all those demons telling me to go to the nearest drive thru and eat something. i called my husband crying and he talked me down off the ledge. i felt awful why the hell do people who do not even know us have to bash us?? I hate the society we live in.  It just really chaps my butt because are so selfish and rude !! let's yell something to get a laugh and who gives a ship who we hurt. I could go on and on forever... I just wanted LB to know these jerks are everywhere!!!!

Jaime - I'm really sorry that this happened to you. It sucks that people have to be this rude and mean to people that they dont even know. Honestly, this will stick with you for a while and it definitely stings but he doesn't know you and will never have the opportunity to understand the wonderful person that you are. Dont let this jerk get you down. He totally isnt worth it. Unfortunately there are all sorts of people in this world, thats what makes the world go around - and even more unfortunately for us, we have to deal with the brunt of their ignorance. Again, I'm sorry that this happened to you, but just remember that you know you are bettering yourself and this guy means nothing to you.

Keep your head up - keep going to the gym and dont let this @ss get to you.

100% in agreement with Laura.  People are ignorant.  We see them everywhere, every day.  It is not a reflection on you at all.  I know it's easier said than done, but don't give any more power to that person by wasting more time on him.  I know you will feel the sting, but then try to move forward.  By dwelling on it, you are only giving power to a slug who needs to yell something hurtful outside of a moving automobile to feel like his privates are bigger than 3 ".  Huggs to you, and to Laura too.

I think what got me the most is reading Laura's post and feeling so darn bad!! then it happens to me...OMG!! I will not dwell on it and it feels good to come here for support!!!

How aweful! Go back and read all the wonderful responses that Laura received and apply them to YOU! Same, same. I feel so horrible and my heart goes out to you!

Hey, if this happens again, just smile and wave! That's what I do when I have an irrate driver around me. It really p's them off because you're not giving the reaction they're expecting!

The laugh is really on them. What goes around, comes around! Remember that!

And congratulations for going to the gym! That's wonderful! After the first couple weeks, you will feel so good about yourself that eventually, it won't matter what strangers think and say about you!

Thanks!!! You always have such kind words!!!  I am going to make myself go back today...everything in me does not want to go but I am because I am bigger than this. The only way to succedd with this is to go and work out. I just feel the strares on me..EEEWWW

Jaime - I'm so sorry you had to be the newest target for the idiots in the world.  Please feel free to vent here any time you need to - plenty of shoulders to cry on or eyes and ears to vent and yell to.

Jaime- personally I think Cara is being REALLY generous giving them a WHOLE 3 inches.  Guess that is what makes men so good with maps- they can look at an inch and think it is a mile

I have met both you and Laura and you are both stunning!   Ignore comments- I know this is nearly impossible to do and no matter how much we can make our shells touch- they still hurt like hell!! 

I am so glad that you didn't use food as a crutch in this one- shows how far you have come baby!!!
