I had to share

OK, I'm a little excited, so bear with me. Monday is my usual weigh in but I've been a little neurotic lately and I've been weighing a lot. Today my scale came back with 165.0 and you might think I'm crazy (most of you KNOW I am)but that is a HUGE number for me.
My first appt with Dr Pohl I weighed 331. Half of that weight would be 165.5 so I've officially lost over HALF of my body weight!!
I'm only 5 lbs from goal now as well, and I never thought I would attain my goal, especially not at only 9 mths out. So, I'm thinking about revising my goal, what do you guys think?? Maybe 140-145?

WTG.  That is great.   I don't see why you can not make it to 145.   Kepp up the great work.

Hi Angela,

You looked awesome at the pool party!  I had to look twice to see if it was you.  I would try to lose as much as you can in a year because thats when you actually lose the most.  After that it does become so much harder to lose and at times hard to keep your weight within a few pounds of what you want to weigh.  The pouch as you know gets a bit larger and you can eat a bit more and carbs go down really really well.  Good luck and I hope you keep losing.......Carol B

It too bad you missed it Carol! I would love to see you again, I miss talking to you.
I already feel like I eat more and carbs definately go down easier, so I'm trying to watch that.
I think you're right about the year, I think I'll try to lose as much as possible the next couple months.

Hi Angela!

I agree with both, Carol and Lisa...

A) You look fantastic!

B) You're 5'4" and your frame could easily handle 145 lbs safely.

You should be seeing Dr. Pohl again for your 9 month follow-up, right? What does he think? I'm 5'4" and have my goal at 140. According to the BMI charts, you and I could go down to as low as 126 if we want. What do YOU think? That's the most important question. How do you feel?

Have you started looking into the plastic surgery that you've been wanting? Are you waiting until you're a year out?

I love you!

Jules

I'm actually 5'6 and I think my ideal is 143 or something like that, but I think I will talk to Dr Pohl and see what he says. I'm trying to take into consideration plastics too, but yes, I'll wait a while before looking into the plastics. I want to be stable before I even get started on looking into those ,because I feel like its going to be a roller coaster ride of emotions. i was supposed to see Dr Pohl on the 8th, but they called and rescheduled me for the 22nd because Dr Pohl is going to be out of town for a couple of weeks. But I'll definately be talking to him then. I'm also going to talk to Peggy when I see her in a couple weeks. I'm going to tell her I'm not ready for maintenance yet! I'm going to be shameful and try to get skinny!

The pics from the party are great. I had to explain to Guy why there are so many with Donnie and I holding hands(haha) but I LOVE the last one with us and the kids.
