Psych Question - AGAIN!

Ok so i made an appointment with Dr. Zimmermans office and they told me that I will see whoever is available, not a specific dr.... so then I called a different number to make an appointment with Dr. Friedman and the lady first said - we make it with whoever is available then sje said - you already made an appointment - so they are all in the same office???  I don't get it - now the lady probably thinks I am nuts LOL!

Yes, they are both in the same office. It doesnt really matter who you see because the final "approval" comes through either Dr. Zimmerman or Dr. Friedman. You will see one the psychologists first, they will ask you all the questions, then you will see the psychiatrist after that.

I saw Dr. Zimmerman.  Before him I saw his assistant ( I guess that is who she was, could have been a student).  Well anyway, she was the one with all the questions.  She then discusses everything with the doctor. You will meet with the doctor about 3 hours later.  By the way, you have to fill out a packet that is basically all the same questions that the assistant..

Not the Dr Friedman I saw.  He had his own office (a home) on the east side and I think his assistant was his wife/companion.   I have no clue what I did with all my paperwork, or I would give you the number I had

Same with Alexia.....I thought Dr. Friedman worked alone. I too thought that was his wife/companion. I also went to the same place in Providence. LOL
Maybe he works out of 2 seperate offices which is not uncommon OR maybe things have changed since last year?

I saw the same Dr Friedman as Alexia as well.  You're not nuts, it's confusing..there are two.  I think the doctor I saw was Dr Fredric Friedman and looking thru my info, he is located at 51  Adelphi Ave on the east side off Angell St.  His phone is 421-1691.
