Too many horror stories?


Remember, you'll always read more horror stories then good stories. It's just the way it is...more come to vent while others are out enjoying life.
Keep in mind...there are risks in every surgery AND everything you do...including staying obese or crossing the street.
Be aware of the possiblities but don't dwell on them...you'll make yourself sick.
Stay positive and go into surgery knowing you are improving your life!

Kim you will do fine.  I actually avoid the main board because I don't want to deal with all the drama.  I like our little corner of the world over here. 

i made the mistake of reading some of there posts..and had nightmares for 3 nights..thinking, what am i doing...... but then i got over it. im come to far to turn back now and i really dont want to. its just some of the stories lately,  your like  what the heck........thanks kim

Kim- I so agree.  I couldn't sleep after I got my surgery date, so stayed on the computer and hopped board to board.  I scared myself silly.  I was convinced that everyone of these things was going to happen to me.  Every hiccup I had, every time I turned, I convinced myself that I ruined my band.  These things are few and far between- but people love to post horrors.

thanks so much..i thought this close to my surgery date i would be really freaking out, but im doing ok..my only fear is being put to sleep ive never had general anth... before.
