Doctor Referral for Revision Surgery

HI All,

I am a newbie who has just moved to Newport, RI.

I had the Lapband surgery a few years ago, and I am looking to have it removed and a bypass done.

I am wondering if anyone knows any reputable Doctors in the RI or MA  area?

Or if anyone has had the same surgery done, please give me a shout out.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any docs in RI or MA who do bypass for someone in your situation. All I DO know is that Dr. Pohl will not do revisions or surgeries on anyone who has had stomach surgeries in the past.

Hello,

I just had a bypass revision with Dr Sax in Providence, he is wonderful.  He operates out of Miriam Hospital.  I would recommend him to anyone.  If he cant do the revision will he will tell you.  Its definitely worth having a consultation with him.
