I have to say, I really went because my husband is from NJ, has always been a fan, and had never seen him live.  I just went because HE wanted to go.  But I am converted!!  I LOVED Bruce!  He put on the best show ever!  He made 60,000 of us feel like we had partied with him personally. Has anyone else seen him before?  We saw CSN last weekend in Boston, and I LOVE them, but Bruce put on a much better show.  Never thought I would still be talking about this particular concert a night later.

Just have to say "WOW"!!

I LOVE going to concerts! I haven't been in ages but also saw CSN&Y (way back!), Alanis Morrisette, Dido, Bare Naked Ladies twice, Indigo Girls, Joan Baez, Paula Cole, Natalie Merchant 2-3 times, and Tracy Chapman, to name those I can remember off hand.  Your'e right! You do feel like you are right there with them! Bare Naked Ladies puts on a great show like that!

Bruce really seemed to be enjoying himself.  He played 3 hrs straight and he played 3 HARD hours...He's 58 yrs old, and was in the audience, and constantly running back and forth in front of the stage, jumping UP and down huge platforms...He's a manimal!  No wonder he LOOKED so good!  He's definitely a hottie!!

Defintely...we even looked last nite into seeing if we could get tickets to see him in Hershy PA the end of this month, he was that good!   CSN was good, still can harmonize and all, sounded great, but Bruce rocked the house.

I love going to concerts- esp since we have started tailgating.  We had a summer tradition of seeing Poison every time they came to The Tweeter Center or whatever it is called now.  This year they went to Twin Rivers instead so we opted for not going.  The whole fun of it was the parking lot party.  Fun concert- but not worth it without tailgating.  We haven;t been to any yet this year- but think we are going to Jimmy Buffet in Sept.

Glad you had so much fun!!

Girl, I have done my share of concerts...prolly been going as long as you have been on this earth,   I have seen some of the greats over the yrs, including Clapton, Grateful Dead, Buffet, Pink Floyd, and Creedence.  I actually paid $6 for tickets to Black Sabbath (not a typo)... it was the first concert I ever smelled pot.  But after so many yrs, I have burned out...not much of a crowd person anymore, so the idea of  going to Gillette to see someone I am not crazy about was just an ok nite out...tho I was excited to have a date with my husband for the second wkend in a row.  But like I said in my first post, I am a changed woman!  I have been on the Springsteen website two days in a row, trying to figure out when I can see him again.  Wow! My husband is so happy!  It's a hoot!  Never thought he would be so happy about me being crazy about another man, except it is THE BOSS!!      Not to mention Little Stevie Van Zandt (Silvio), Nils Lofgren, Clarence Clemmons and  the rest of a tight, rockin' band.  I need to get over this, I know, but it is gonna take me a while!  hahaha!!

I was the same way going to see Poison the first time (and Bon Jovi).  Not a big fan- but was going for the companionship and because hubby was a fan and had never been to concerts before (I used to be such a junkie of em before too- gone to wayyyy to many shows to count) but they both had such great stage presence that your couldn;t help but have fun and become a fan.

As weird as this sounds- you know who also puts on the most amazing concerts?  Actually- moe like a production stage show- Weird Al.  He gets into a new costume for each song and you just have FUN!!!!

ps- my little brother used to take drum lessons from Bruce's drummer every time they came into town.  He would put on a private class for some select students through Luca Music in N Providence.  I always thought it was so cool he did this for people.
