Holy crap!! I've been approved!
Thanks Jan! I definitely have become a circus performer for all the hoops I have had to jump through. I really tried to have some sense of understanding with all of these twists and turns, and felt like I was at peace and making the best of it until this past week. I really was wondering what else could stand in my way. I'm just glad to have the approval out of the way, and now I can focus on the rest of the bigger picture. Thanks Jules!!! And many huggs for all those tears of joy! On Monday, after talking to Cheryl again and she told me she STILL had not sent it to Aetna yet, I was crying real tears of deep sadness that I would NEVER get to this point. I even told Glenn I had been really strong and was able to find a deeper meaning in everything up to that point, but I just couldn't over this. He even said scr3w it, we would pay for the surgery ourselves, but this time, it was not Aetna's fault. I couldn't even get the paperwork to them...but now all is well and right with the world again. I am going to call Dr P's office today to see if I can schedule the next appt rather than waiting for them to call me about that. He is going to be on vacation for two wks in Aug, so that will delay me a little longer, I'm sure...This time, tho, it's ok, cos I have been approved!!! And I have earned every bit of this one!!! No one can say I have not shared in some of the Buddha's patience!
The concert, btw was GREAT! Man, are they old! But when they sang Helplessly Hoping, you heard those young voices all over again. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday. On to Springsteen this weekend. Ha! Totallly different vibe.
