looking for something to do next Sat, Aug 2nd???

I will be at a "Feed you Neighbors" block party at Pilgrim High School in Warwick from about 9am on.  I would LOVE to see some of you there and say hi!  I will be there with my Body Shop at Home.  Pop in and say hi!! Saturday, August 2^nd   Pilgrim High School Parking lot 111 Pilgrim Parkway Warwick “Block Party” to help feed our Neighbors in need Please come to our 50 table professional crafters, “Live Peace Now”, Parkside Jewelry,  Baseball Cards, Body Shop, Pampered chef “Go Green Products”, Hollywood Video, Tupperware, Tastefully Simple, Wyman PTA table, neighborhood yard sale tables, baby cloths, kids cloths, videos, You name it we have it…..   Come have lunch or a snack, Hummus, homemade pita chips, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Del’s Lemonade and the list goes on….   For every bag of food you bring to help feed the hungry, you get another chance to win Fabulous Prizes! We have great Raffles!  All Proceeds Help Feed our Neighbors. We are also having a “Car Wash” same time and date, at the “Pilgrim Senior Rec. Center next to Pilgrim High school.  $5.00 for Car Wash.  We will offer extras: window, interior, wheels (at an additional cost)  Quick and Easy…      We would like to give a Special “Thank You” for “Community Effort” in helping make this Event a reality as to date:   Dave’s Market- $250.00, Cardi’s Furniture $100.00 Certificate,  S&S Landscaping $100.00 Certificate, Governor Francis Inn $25.00 cert., Kim Lombardi $45.00 Salon Cert. and many more…….

BTW, when you're in the box you're typing in, look above the font size. You'll see a box that says HTML Editor.....if you switch it from #1 to #2 you can paragraph as much as you want without OH changing anything. AND you get better choices of fonts, font sizes and colors!

I am away that weekend, but more than wanting to go to shop - I would have LOVED to setup as a vendor - of course I still would have shopped...LOL  Can you keep me in mind if they do this again?

I know quite a few of us here do home parties.  I will keep you all in mind when I find out about events like this looking for vendors.  I know how hard it can be to find a good event to set up at.  Hopefully- this one will turn out well.  It is for a great cause!

How did it go?

Cara came and she was my only customer of the day.  (what a sweetie!!)

It was a hot day and I think a lot of people cancelled on her last minute- the lot was bare!  She will be doing another one either in the fall or spring and will let me know when.  I will pass it along to you.  Hopefully it will be better, I think she learned from mistakes this time.
