Back from Disney and first ultrasound yesterday!

Hi everyone! Thanks for the well-wishes for my trip - we had a fantastic time! And in case you're wondering, I was able to pay the child's price for 2 out of 3 buffet/all-you-can-eat meals (the last one we did at the Grand Floridian the manager wanted a doctor's note...wtf??? I told him: "I'll show you my scars!" )

We had our first u/s yesterday and the baby looks great so far! He/she was moving around a lot, we saw the arms and legs and heartbeat and got our first pictures! Awesome! 

I'm hoping to make it on Thursday night, but it's my mom's birthday, so I may be going over there (even though we're having a party for her on Sunday). See you all there!

And what great ultrasound news too!!!  (I just had one on Friday and had a nasty reaction to the gel- they had never seen anyone with an allergy to that before)

Have you thought of any names?  Are you sticking with "A" names?  I have 3 boys all with "A" names (Alexander, Andre, and Ashton).  Wasn't meant as a pattern until I realized we had one when looking for a name for Ashton- and just decided to stick with the theme.  We were down to Arianna for a girl and Ashton for a boy- but alas~~  no girls for me- lol

Congrats again and so happy to hear the baby (and mommy!) are doing well!!

 We have a limited list of boys names that start with "A" (I already have a nephew Alexander), but Ashton is at the top of the list! For girls, we have a few we're batting around: Amelia, Amelie (pronounced Ah-mah-lee), Amiah (Ah-my-ah), I also like Addison but my hubby doesn't. We'll come to a decision when we find out the gender in Sept!

Your ticker is just TOO cute!!!!!!  Congrats on the pregnancy, btw.

Ultrasound....wow, that brings back so many memories! Both as a mom AND a grandma! Can we see the pics on Thursday?
