Protein question
Hi everyone i was wondering if you could give me some advice, i am having lap-band surg. on aug 22nd and i have my list from the nut. on what to have in my house for after the surgery.. my question is, if you have any advice on what type of drink you tolerated better right after the surgery.. like i think i might but a powder protien and maybe some isopure liquid just in case.. does any one have an unflavored favorite so maybe i could add it to ice tea or crys. light any advice would be helpful everytime i go to buy the protein powder i get all panicky (i know stupid) .
Thanks, Kim
Hi Kim,
I drank the Proti 15 shakes from Dr. Pohl & Dr. Giovanni's office, the Isopure ready-made bottled protein (still like that one) and I buy samples of protein powders from www.vitalady.com.
I bought dried skim milk to add to what ever I want for more protein.
HERE'S SOMETHING NEW!!!
BENEPROTEIN non-flavored protein to add to anything you eat or drink. It's sold on www.walgreens.com. It's not available in stores yet but the pharmacist at each store can order it for you at no additional charge and you don't have to pay shipping and handling charges.
Congrats on making a healthy choice for your future!

Hi Kim,
I have some on order at my local Walgreens.
I get my dried skim milk from my local Stop & Shop. It's located in the coffee section and/or the baking section.
Have fun with it! You can also add it to skim milk to make it more of a whole milk consistency with extra protein!
