I know that I am relatively new here and this may be old news to some if so I apologize...

If you sick of the chocolate or vanilla drinks...you may want to check this out..

I had ordered sample pack from
www.enjoyhealth.com it was like 12 or so for $19.00 I think..I forgot I ordered them and found them in a drawer...anyway I mixed the Roadside Lemonade with 8 oz of water...wow it was dammmm good! You can order just specifc flavors too for $1.89

It was nice to find a drink with NO SUGAR and 23 grams of protein and taste good...better than the SF Instant Carnation(protein wise). It came a bit foamy if you use a mixer or blender...but I am sure stirring it would be fine and then add some ice.  I drank just a little seeing that I am still on Optifast. I just needed a little different taste than the choc and strawberry that I have been living on...ha Just wanted to pass it along..

Hi Rob!

I love, love, love the nectars! Especially the Apple Ecstacy! One scoop is 23 grams of protein! I get mine from www.vitalady.com

I checked out www.enjoyhealth.com for price comparison. They charge $32.79. Vitalady charges $28.99. Plus you can get samples first for only $1.99 each. So worth it!

I have, personally, never used the SF Carnation instant breakfast because I feel the calories are wasted on only 6 gms of protein (when mixed with water).

See you soon!

Hey Jules..

Thanks for the heads up!!  I just got back from the Vitamin Shoppe in Warwick and was looking at the protein mixes...the person working said the Isopure Isolate and Nectar are the two big sellers for people who had RNY...I was trying to find a place to buy Isopure samples online(esp interested in the fruit punch one) but I didn't see that flavor available for sale as a sample size on vitalady.com...when the time comes, I may just bite the bullet and buy a jug.

All this research and comparative shopping is just making me wish my surgery was next week....

I like Vitamin Shoppe a LOT better than GNC.  I always got a look when I went into GNC like- "what is this FAT chick doing in here".  I don't get that at Vitamin Shoppe.  They answered all my questions as well
