I'm going back to school!!!
A little history here - I graduated high school in 2002 and went straight to CCRI - completed 1 year and then decided not to go back, instead I got a full time job and have been with them (Bank of America) ever since. Well, with all of the changes and with me finally doing things for myself and to better myself, I decided that going back to school is going to be a part of my self improvement.
I contacted CCRI and I learned that I owed them some money from my 1 year there, so I saved up enough to pay them off - $650 - and to enroll in 1 class for the Fall 2008 semester - $400 so first thing Monday morning I'm headed to the school to pay them and meet with an advisor to figure out a plan.
At this time, I do work full time and can only afford to take one class at a time - but one is better than none! I'm not sure what to take right now, nor do I know what area I want to get into but I do know that I need to be back in school and continuing my education. I have always enjoyed learning and going to school and I have felt like something was missing out of my life for a long time and I think that this may be it.
I've been out of school for almost 5 years now so the adjustment might be a little tough, but I'm tougher and I know I can do it.
Any suggestions for where to start or what to take? I'm going to get my Gen Ed classes out of the way, I already have some major Math and English credits (those are my 2 favorite subjects) and a couple science and history credits as well. I'm hoping everything can stay with me and all the credits are still good.
So - wish me luck and offer any suggestions you have!

Hi Pam! Yes, the bank does have tuition reimbursement -the only issue with that is they pay for it after you pass the course. Here is my plan - I'm going to pay for my first class, then when I am reimbursed I will sign up for 2 classes next semester and use the money from the bank for one class and my own money for my other class, and so on....
Bank of America is awesome - they pay for both bank and non bank related courses - as long as you pass with a C+ (which I will). They will pay up to $5K per year so I really have a lot of choices!
I'm so excited - but nervous at the same time!
