Hey Guess What???? You guys are going to start seeing a lot more of me again! I'm about to have a LOT more free time starting next week, so watch out!

I've been laid off, but before you say awwwwwww, its really not such a bad thing.

I'm looking forward to spending a little bit of time at home with my kids for the summer and getting things settled a bit. Once school starts back, I'll begin seriously looking for a new job, but until then I'm going to take it a bit easier I think. My job now is talking already about having me work part time from home and going into the office 1-2 days a week, which I love the idea of, but we'll see. In the mean time, I wont do too bad on unemployment I dont think.

I'm really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things on here again, I miss you guys!

the moral here:
Watch out....Angelas back!

Enjoy the summer Angela.
Remember...everything happens for a reason!
You just got your kids home and there could be bigger and better opportunities later for work!

Angela...I was just laid off too and im soooo loving it. I do miss my job because I absolutely loved it but im loving being at the beach and working on my tan. The best part is that my kids camp had already been paid for so on days I want some peace and quiet...off to camp they go and moms at the beach! It also helps with going to the gym...its tough getting there when you have to work!! Enjoy your summer and take this time to work on YOU not just the kiddies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it could be a blessing in disguise! You knew that it was a possibility so it's good that it's not a complete shocker! You will be able to spend some quality time with your kids and thats awesome! Enjoy your summer off!

ok Angela- that means we now have time to get the kids together to play!!  We will definately have to set up a time.  We have a pool here (perfect size for the kids- only 30" deep but big enough they have fun), central air if it gets too hot, and a lot of room to run and play.

Enjoy your time with the kids- I have loved being a stay at home mom for the past 2 years.  Mine started as a layoff also

angela, its not that bad. i was laid off for the whole time they allotted me which was about 9 months. i just went back to work and are now doing comething very different and love every minute of it.  i was a supervisor in the kitchen of a nursing home until thy decided to get rid of me but was able to collect. i am now working in an adult day care and driving the bus to pick them up and bring them home. i love evry minute of it. no really big responsibilities  i just go in and come home and enjoy being with all the elderly. some of them are cute.
so enjoy the summer off and the kids and worry about it later.
