hoping to get a "real picture" today

I have gotten so mixed up with differences in scales and such, that I think my ticker is way off and I am really not sure of how much weight I have lost total.  I am seeing Dr Roye today, and going to try and make sure I am weighed on the scale I was originally weighed on during my first visit.  I can then know the real story of how I am doing.  I know there was a difference between his scale and mine, I think I started using his weights, and switched to mine.  I think the difference was as much as 10 lbs.  I know this sounds petty- but I am fighting for these pounds now without restriction- so I want to know how I am REALLY doing.

ok- enough of me babbling

Last week I was asked which scale I wanted to weigh in on. It made no difference to me as they all seem to be the same but if you feel comfortable on one scale...just ask. It's a tiny request that they shouldn't even flinch about. If they do...they'll get over it!!!
Good luck today!

Good luck Beth! I know how you feel - my scale is 3 lbs off from Dr G's scale... but at least I know and am aware of the difference!

Now - my favorite scale is the one at work - which is always 10 lbs less than my scale at home

Good luck! Let us know how you do!

Hey Beth!

 Kicking Dirt Krikey! That sucks!

It's not petty by any means! I would feel exactly the same way! I'm, in fact, thinking of getting an actual Weigh****chers bathroom scale so I can see the actual ounces and not just the 1/2 pound-pound stuff.

Anyway, like everyone else said...please let us know how things work out for ya!

I set my scale at home so that it was in sync with his - then my scale broke.  So I have been waiting to see him again to get an accurate weight.  I know that my clothes fit differently and I've gone down almost two sizes.  I even had to buy new underwear (it was a very exiciting trip to Wal Mart).

I am going on Monday also!!! What time will you be there?

Jen

I will be there at 1:55.  What time will you be there??  Hope to see you!

I have a glass electronic scale (it does show ounces too- got it for a good deal at Ocean State Job Lot) but haven't looked into if I can adjust it- I don't think I can.  I just have to make sure it is "zeroed" out and even on the floor before I get on it.  Once I get my weight from Dr Roye, I will go home, take it again on my scale and figure out exact difference and this time- write it down- lol.
