WLS Pals Pool Party - AUGUST 16TH REMINDER!

       JUST NEEDED TO BRING THIS FORWARD AGAIN!

           I REALLY WANT YOU ALL TO COME!!!  

HELLO MY DARLIN' FRIENDS!

Okay, I know I said August 9th but that's the weekend of the LeapFest in North Kingstown. I'm an Army Vet, Hubba Wubbins is x29 years Army (and will be a jump master that day), my oldest son is a 2x Iraqi Vet and I have a son in the Army National Guard (who will be jumping that day) and another in the Air Force Reserves.

           Sooooo, we need to go to the LeapFest!   

                                            Wanna join us???                      

                        Our FIRST annual Pals Pool Party will be:

                                       AUGUST 16th

                                        (RAINdate the 17th)

                                               NOON - ???

                      Please bring your favorite WLS friendly dish

                          (if you can, please provide nutrition info)

     Bring your favorite towel, your favorite chair

                                        AND YOUR FAMILY!

                     We will be serving ONLY WLS friendly foods.

                No alcohol. No Soda. So, BYOB! (hubby will have his MillerGD)

We have the pool (maybe our NEW one will be in place by then)    

                   and a cool playscape for the kids under the tree!

                                         We will provide:

                                                       

                                        93% Hamburgers

                                 Non-processed Beef Hotdogs

                                         Chicken Breast

                                   Shrimp & Veggie Kabobs

                               Chili & Vegitarian Baked Beans

  Everything will be pre-measured with Calorie, Protein & fat counts

                               We all can plan a nice walk   

            (maybe to Slater Park which is close by)

                                  and some other activites

Stay later, we can sit by the firepit and tell ghost stories   

                                              

            We have CENTRAL A/C so if it's too hot for us,

                                we can just come on inside!

We just need to know approximately how many people will be coming so we can be sure there is enough food, sugar free drinks, paper products, etc.

    If you can, please let me know NO LATER THAN AUGUST 9TH!

                 If you have any activity ideas, please let me know.

   

I would like to see this mainly centered around activities, friendship, support and comradery! Not just food.
