Hi All!!

HI Everyone!! I havent posted on the board lately but i just wanted to tell everyone that i am a loser! It has been 2 weeks and i am down 12 lbs, already! Thank you for all of your support and I hope to meet each and every one of you eventually! One last thing, just wondering if I would see any of your smiling faces at the RIH support group on wednesday... Have a wonderful week everyone!

Yay!! That's great!! Most importantly...how do you feel?? I am going in this Friday and am nervous! How did you feel when you came home? Have you been walking or does it hurt?? Marie

Marie, you have nothing to worry about. When I came home from the hospital I wouldnt say that I had pain, more discomfort. I took the medicine they gave me and was fine. I came home from the hospital on a thursday and was off the pain meds by saturday. That saturday I also went to the grocery store with my mom. In terms of pain/discomfort, it took about a week for it to go away. As of right now, there is no pain or discomfort at all. Really the only issue that I have is that I dont have the same amount of energy as I did before the surgery, but I know that takes some time. I will be at the RIH meeting on Wednesday! I've only missed one and that was because I was having surgery that day!

I'll have my pink rose cane and I'm usually early and sitting in the foyer waiting for the 'okay' to go into the meeting!

I feel really good! I am tired a lot, but I know that will take some time. Thanks for you concern and support! I don't know  what I would do without OH!

I am also very tired..I was banded on the 26th so 2 days afta you. Some parts of the day I feel like my normal ol self and others I am dragging ass. Geez I never realized how much I depended on my after noon ice coffees!! LOL I really have not craved one yet so I am happy.
