5 Days and COUNTING...

Hey Marie.. I was nervous too.. guess we all are in some way or another. I went back to work after 9 weeks out, but my job is physical. I was okay doing stuff at home.. just got tired sort of quickly. Took naps when I could to just regroup. I wish you a speedy recovery.. and best wishes!

Marie, you'll do great!! Its normal to be nervous..Im not having my surgery until end of august,and the thought of it keeps me up.But we will all do fine.. Take Care Kim

Marie- try and come to the meeting at the Gerry House at RI Hospital tonight at 6:15.  I think it will help ease your nerves a bit!  You will get through this fine!  Nervous, anxious, excited- I was all of those rolled into one.  I can't believe it has been 3 1/2 months for me already!   Hope to see you tonight.  Good luck on Friday, and speedy recovery!

AAAAAAHHHHH!! In 48 hours surgery will be overwith and a great success....right?? I have cried on and off today. Just a bunch of emotions. Some fear, but also from the support I have been getting from my husband, kids, parents, and friends. I am a teacher and my last day of work was 6-26. I got an email last night from some of my boss saying that some of my "bestest friends" are going to pay me a visit tomorrow night to wish me luck for Friday. I can't wait to see them and am trying to look past Friday but can't seem to just yet. Maybe I need to just focus on that for now and deal with the post-op when it comes?
