Hi All !! I am going to an amusement park with my family tomorrow.  I am still on the liquified puree stage of the diet...and how fun it has been.  What can I bring to eat tomorrow?  I am only 4 wks post op.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Also, any recipies would be great also! Thanks, and Happy 4th of July!!!! Aimee

Hi Aimee!

If I were packing for an amusement park, I would pack:

3 - 4 24oz bottles of water

1 bottle of Isopure (40 gms protein) and/or protein powder to mix

my Calcium, Benefiber and flavored 'add-ins'

Greek Yogurt (I use Fage 2%)

Frozen Edamame 1/2 cup (easy to chew to mush and easy as a meal when everyone has snacks)

Try This!

1 potatoe (peeled and cubed)

6 oz chicken breast (no fat, no skin, cubed)

1 can Low Fat Chicken Broth

Seasonings you prefer

Put chicken and potatoe into broth. Bring to boil. Lower to medium and cook covered until potatoe is tender and chicken is cooked through.

Blend together!

This gives you protein AND enough carbs to get you through the walking all day long.

I hope this helps! Have a great time!
