8 Month's Today!!

Today is my 8 month surgi-versary! As of today I have lost a total of 180 lbs and I feel great! In 8 short months I have gone from a size 32 shirt and tight 32 pants to a size 14/16 shirt and size 18 pants! Before surgery, I could have never pictured being where I am now - I am healthy, comfortable in my own skin and I have built on my self confidence! Don't get me wrong - sometimes those old feelings of being insecure and unworthy come back to rear their ugly head but I have an amazing friend (you know who you are) that has helped me overcome this. During the last 8 months I have learned so much about myself and grown as a person and I actually like the person that I am. I have finally gotten to know the me that I have been pushing away for so long and I'm excited about life now! I want to experience everything that I couldn't or wouldn't do before and I look forward to it!

I have also met and made some of the most amazing friends that I couldn't live without! You are all wonderful people and I thank you for all of your support!

Hey Laura, That is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!   You should be so proud of yourself...I know myself and the rest of your friends on here are proud of you!  I love reading updates like this...it gives me the motivation and so much to look forward to when I have my surgery!   YOU ROCK!!!

The liquid diet is getting a little easier...and I keep in mind WHY I am doing it...the bigger prize...more hotties!!!    I mean SURERY!!!    ha Yes I will be at RWH on Thursday and going to Miriam on Tuesday.. Again keep up the great work kiddo!!!

Laura,  You have done an amazing job. You truely are an inspiration to so many people just starting out! There are so many from this board and many more to come! I can't even imagine how you feel inside with so many changes that have taken place through your journey. You have lost "me" since my current weight is 179. Awesome and continue to reach all your goals. You can do it!
