okay, i am complaining even though i have lost 75 pounds since january 22.  i am almost at the 5 month point and i know from dr. roye that i have until month 8 where the weight comes off fairly easily, but i am working out a lot and eating what i think is the right amount...in fact, i might be consuming too little, but i always find it disconcerting to see how some have lost so much more in the same amount of time  so here goes....AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Comparing is never a good thing. Someone out there will always have better results for one reason or another. 75 lbs is more then awesome! Remain postitive and be proud for how long you've come.  Everyone has their setbacks....just keep doing your best and be proud!

Sara!

I've missed you!

75 pounds in three months!!! Incredible!

Are ya still drinking water from that huge water container? How many calories are you consuming?

How's your protein intake? From what I understand, if you're not consuming enough calories, your body may think you're starving it.

AND I've heard that if you up your protein, the weight comes off better.

Whatta ya think?

See you at the RIH meeting Tuesday?

Sara,   75 lbs is great, in  that amount of time.  To make you feel better I lost 75 lbs in a year, even though it was the band, you will still be ahead of me. Nancy

Hi Sara, If you are eating too little then your body goes into starvation mode.  Try and eat a little more.  Also the all too familiar plateau is always lurking in the background.  This also could be it.  I think you have lost an awful lot of weight in 3 months..Also it could be that your body is adjusting to the huge weight loss and is trying to hang onto whatever you have.  It will pass, just give it time.  I think you are doing Wonderful!!
