July 4 in Bristol!
ok, I know I'm full of posts today...I promise this is the last one that I'm starting!
But, we're officially inviting anyone who wants to come join us over to Our house for the 4th of July!
Our house is just a block from the parade route, a block from the common (where there will be a carnival) and just a few blocks to the waterfront for the fireworks and since everyone wants to see the parade and Bristol is such a popular place on the 4th which can be hectic getting into and out of...we figured we'd just make an all day party out of it since everything is so close and we can walk to it! We'll even be setting up a canopy in the back yard to party under!
We'll start early morning and everyone can come hang out the entire day. We'll grill, we'll chat, we'll watch the parade and play at the carnival, we'll just have a good time. We have plenty of room, so bring the kids and the spouse and come spend the day with us!
I would highly recommend though that you bring a lawn chair with you that can be taken to the parade as it is a long one and you'll want to sit down. I'm also going to ask that everyone bring a dish of some sort with you. Since we'll be going all day, it can be anything from breakfast to dinner, just please let me know what you'll bring so we can plan accordingly as we need it. We have plenty of refrigerator space and stoves (3 of each) available to us, so dont worry if your dish needs one of them.
It should be a really fun day, so come join us!
Angela, it's so great of you and Guy to open your house to us all the time! I would really love to come, but I haven't been feeling that well with this pregnancy so far, and Vin is working from 7am to 11pm that day. I may need to just chill out at home or head over to my sister's for a while. But I will let you know for sure when we get a bit closer.
Angela - thanks so much for the invite - but the 4th is our annual family reunion cookout (actually looking forward to seeing all my cousins that havent' seen the new me lol)
I am going to try really hard to make the June get together - now that the kids are done with baseball/softball - saturdays just freed up for a bit.
I can't wait to see your little ones!
Pam
