I am so there with both of you!!  I have had one fill and I keep battling myself with hunger issues.  I do ok with one scrambled egg with salsa for breakfast- but as the day progresses- I want to eat more and more.  I have to say that low fat cheese sticks, a wedge of laughing cow cheese with a few whole grain crackers, or cottage cheese as a snack has really been my only saving grace from not scarfing down an entire bag of chips or something equally as bad.  (Jen I know you are not allowed those yet-  but I think you can do the cottage cheese or yogurt on full liquids.)  I keep hoping this will get easier, but I have to remember- this is really helping me learn to be in control of what I put into my mouth.  If I didn't go through this, and I just lost weight without this struggle, I am know I would miss this very important lesson, and would most not likely keep any of it off.  Every pound I lose at this point is a personal victory and I know I worked hard for it. You guys can do this!!  We just need to keep each other on track!!  I know for sure I need it!!

I know what you mean.  I am not even out of the full liquid stage and am starting to worry.  What if I can't keep it togehter?  What if I gain? What if I'm starving?  I'm so paranoid about it I just need to let it go. When I switched to full liquids I got a new protein powder that I can mix with milk and it is soooo much better.  I had bought the natural flavor to mix wtih punch, soup, but by the end of the first week I was gagging.  I didn't know this but the girl at GNC said that if you buy anything that you don't like just bring it back within 30 days even if you have been using it.  So that 35.00 powder is going back today!!!! I started walking two days ago and I swear that now I am even hungrier!!! Jen

Hi Jenny, Yes you will be hungrier because you are expending more energry.  Don't get discouraged and don't be worried.  This stage is not as hard as the pre-op diet, but is second on the hard list.  As you start getting fills it will be easier - and I promise there is a sweet spot.  Don't give up...stay strong!!!

Thanks Danielle, I did not have to do the pre-op diet so luckily this will be my one and only hard stage. Just taking one day at a time.  Looking forward to/nervous about eating liquified purees next week.

Hang in there Jen and Alexia!  I just had my second fill yesterday and can feel a big difference today.  I just went to lunch with my daughter and ordered the same salad I ordered last week...last week I ate the whole thing, today I left with half of it to go.  Thank you so much Danielle for your encouragement.  You are a great inspiration!  I think the pureed foods was most difficult for me.  I really ended up staying with full liquids with Yogurt and soup and added a scrambled egg. I love the Pacific soups in the carton.  It's funny, but "full" feels very different than it used to.
