JustmeJules - how did your fill go?

Hi Jules, How did you make out at the doctor today?  How was your fill?

Hi Danielle, the fill went fine!  Thank you for asking and for your reply.  I felt just a little pinch and that was it.  Did you have to go back on liquids for 2 days, then softs for 2 days after?  I don't like that part!   Doc wants to see me in one month.  I have a 10 cc band and she put in 1 cc.  When I came home I had a cup of tomato soup for dinner and I couldn't believe that I was full.  Does it work that fast?  She said it may only last one month, maybe longer.  How often did you have to get them?  Thanks again!  Jules

HI Jules, I think I did liquids for that day and then soft the next.  They just want you to be careful because if you are not used to the restriction it can bite  you.  I had 4 fills until I got to my sweet spot.  I haven't had a fill in almost a year now.  Fills do work that fast...  Good luck you are on the right path...

Jules,  Congrats on your fill and thanks for the info.  I will most likely be getting my first in a week. I was looking for a small fill and thought 1 ccs, now I'm thinking .5 ccs based on your info.  I am still loosing but my portions are getting bigger and I could still eat more if I wanted to. I think a tiny, tiny tweak might help.  Good luck with the fill. I hope it does the trick!
